The Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS) at NUS Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), warmly invites you to a special Fireside Chat with The Right Honourable Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, Chief Justice of Malaysia.
As the first female Chief Justice in Malaysia’s history, Tun Tengku Maimun will share her insights on the role of the judiciary in upholding equality before the law and eliminating gender-based discrimination. Her Honour will also reflect on the ongoing challenges to gender justice within legal systems and the imperative to create a more inclusive profession.
This session will be chaired by Associate Professor Jaclyn Neo, Director of CALS.
